I entered work into two huge shows this Winter and got rejection slips which is all good as it opens up all the work for the summer season and two big shows. I finished 50 small pieces for a show at the Madlab Gallery that opens in may. The show is called The Mark and Dan Show, but i have been referring to it as the 50 paintings under 50 bucks show. I will try to post a few more as i have some gold leaf to apply to a few on finishing touches.

I love the approach of spring. There is a fresh smell in the air, anticipation of warmth, track and field, gardening, easter egg hunts with my kids, fishing, a cold one on my back stoop, can't wait.
